Willmott Dixon, experts in restoring iconic community buildings and attractions, have transformed another cultural landmark after being appointed to enlarge and modernise the 1960s built Octagon Theatre in Bolton. This contract follows Willmott Dixon’s redevelopment of Bolton Albert Halls, a grade II-listed building that formed part of a wider town centre masterplan to encourage more visitors and investment which we were proudly also involved with.
A centrepiece of a £1bn masterplan to rejuvenate the town and encourage more visitors and investment, the restoration of the Octagon Theatre will create more space for young people and community groups, while acting as a catalyst for ongoing regeneration in the town.
