Bournemouth AFC unveiled their new £32 million training complex this year, marking a significant milestone in the club’s long-term development plans. The state-of-the-art facility features comprehensive medical, fitness, sports science and rehabilitation suites, including an altitude chamber, a hydrotherapy pool and a fully equipped gym. It also includes modern offices, a press conference theatre, changing rooms, media areas, storage facilities and dedicated classrooms.
Planning permission for the project was originally approved in 2019, allowing construction to begin on the 57-acre site formerly occupied by Canford Magna Golf Club. The complex boasts an indoor dome and several full-sized outdoor pitches, serving as the primary training base for the men’s first team, the women’s team and academy players across all age groups.
The development was delivered by contractors Amiri, who incorporated high-quality products supplied by RB Architectural Hardware. The innovative design maintains harmony with the surrounding landscape, ensuring minimal visual impact and preserving the privacy of those on site.
