Preston Hospital Critical Care Unit

Rb assisted with the design and build of a Critical Care Unit at Preston Hospital comprising a new extension and refurbishment of the existing single-storey building along with an Ophthalmology Department at Chorley Hospital comprising Refurbishment of an existing 3-storey building.

The new unit will consists of 34-beds and features increased natural light and enhanced patient facilities, with a focus on rehabilitation. Facilities for visitors will include a kitchen, lockers and a room for freshening up. Staff facilities are also being upgraded, with a brand-new clinical skills room and a quiet space to encourage mindfulness in the workplace.

I wanted to say thank you to John Hornby, I had a problem that I needed help with. I wanted to find a solution to convert an analogue intercom to a smart one. I contacted various security and intercom companies who wanted to sell me a new system and told me it can’t be done. John had detailed knowledge of the Nuki opener, a genius device that does exactly what I wanted for my air bnb. Not only did he sort my order with efficiency he then went far beyond that and assisted with the installation. We can all buy a box from Amazon. But they won’t be giving this support.
