The International Centre for Shared Reading, Calderstones Park.

John Turner Construction has begun work on The International Centre for Shared Reading, which involves the restoration of the grade two-listed Mansion House at Calderstones Park, Liverpool. Led by social enterprise The Reader, the project’s aim is to deliver an accessible community hub for shared reading and wellbeing activity.

Works will include strip out and replacement of all M&E installations; repair and replacement of roof elements, doors, windows and finishing’s along with reconfiguration of the existing courtyards, footpaths and soft landscaping.

Rb are working in partnership with Architects, Austin Smith Lord to provide Bronze PVD finished ironmongery throughout the project.
